In Cairo, The Aga Khan and Prince Amyn briefed the Prime Minister and the Governor on further developments on the proposed Al Azhar Park, a US$15 million project being sponsored by the Historic cities support Programme of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC). The project is being undertaken following the signing of a Protocol between the Governorate of Cairo and AKTC in December 1990.
