Two days seminars on Islamic architecture were held at the majestic Shalimar Gardens, in Lahore, Pakistan. The seminars were also attended by President Zia ul-Haq, Prince Amyn Mohammed and the Director-General of UNESCO Amadou-Mahtar M'Bow The prize money of $500,000 was further supplemented with the Chairman's Special Award of $100,000.
