1970, January 22: H.H. The Aga Khan, Mowlana Shah Karim left for a tour of East Pakistan. Arrived at Jessore Airport in afternoon, visited the Jessore Jute Industries (photo) and later left by car for Khulna where He visited the People's Jute Mills (photo) and laid the foundation stone of a Jamatkhana.
