A warm welcome to you all. In a way there is nothing more exposing than standing in front of one’s own work but it’s through my passion for photography that I’m also able to share my passion for animals, wildlife and conservation and now with the help of evenings like this I want to take this passion to the next stage by starting a fund called Focused On Nature. We are decimating these animals! Losing them to habitat destruction and degradation, to hunting, poaching and many other factors. So ladies and gentlemen tonight is not about raising money, but it’s about raising awareness of the cause that is dear to me and it is for this reason that I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to talk to you.
