A famous encyclopaedia, known as Rasail Ikhwan as-Safa, was written in 51 volumes by a group of Ismailis under the supervision of Imam Taki Mohammed, who personally wrote the 52nd volume. The said encyclopaedia deals with Logic, Sciences, Mathematics, Medicine, Astronomy.. Professor Yves Marquet wrote a lot on this subject.
