INSTUCTIONS: Audio Creators

After logging in, you may create audio items. Please follow these instructions closely: Upload Audio: 1. In the left menu, chose "create content" => "audio" 2. Scroll down the form until "Add a new audio file:" and attach one mp3 file (note only 11khz, 22khz and 44khz files will play online.) Scroll down and press the "preview" button After a little while, you will see your new audio content highlighted in pink, meaning that it is unpublished. Enter Audio Information 3. click "edit" (if the system complained that the title is missing, you are already in edit-mode) 4. Don't touch the code in the title, just scroll down to the section called "Audio Metadata" This is where you enter the title, the name of the reciter, and most important of all, "Genre"=(either Waez, Dua, Qasida, Speech, etc..) 4. In the "Body" write a sentence about the audio if you know what it is about 5. In "General Subjects" just write one or two keywords or concepts separated by a comma. 6. If you are uploading a Ginan/Qasida, chances are, the text already exists on the site. To link your audio to the text, Start typing the ginan name in the field called "Literature Link", and all matching texts will appear in the dropdown. Select the right one. 6. Now click "Submit" Your new audio will appear in the in the Unpublished Audio page here We will periodically publish these and add them to the Virtual JK too..
