AKDN pledges 10m euro for new Paris Peace Forum endowment 2025-10-29
Posted November 2nd, 2025 by librarian-hdAKDN has pledged 10 million euro toward the Paris Peace Forum’s new endowment fund to support the long-term financial stability and ambitious growth strategy for the Forum.
AKDN is a founding member of the Paris Peace Forum, which opened for its 8th edition today. International organisations, civil society and the private sector have gathered to seek “New Coalitions for Peace, People and the Planet.” In a time marked by fragmentation and conflict, this year’s Paris Peace Forum underscores the urgency of forging new alliances for collective action.

Posted November 10th, 2019 by librarian-hdOn Thursday November 7, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met in Pars with His Highness the Aga Khan, Imam (Spiritual Leader) of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and founder and Chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).
In the course of the talks, they discussed issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the Aga Khan Development Network, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Tajik leader reportedly expressed satisfaction with the level and content of real cooperation between Tajikistan and AKDN.
