He was speaking as guest of honour at 50th annual dinner hosted in his honour by the Pakistan Society at the Great Hall of Lincoln Inn here on Thursday. Prince of Wales Prince Charles, Prince Karim Aga Khan, Princess Sarwat and Principal Secretary of the Queen specially attended the dinner.

AGA KHAN FUND OFFERS HIGHEST BID FOR PAKISTAN'S LARGEST BANK - 2003-12-30
Posted July 10th, 2007 by heritageISLAMABAD: The Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) on Monday gave the highest bid of Rs 22.409 billion ($389 million) for acquiring 51 per cent strategic stake in Habib Bank Limited (HBL). It was the biggest transaction in the history of Pakistan.

Posted July 10th, 2007 by heritageAddressing the concluding session of the two-day conference on Indigenous Philanthropy, Prince Karim Aga Khan said that philanthropic funding of social development is a new phenomenon extending increasingly to institutions engaged in human resources development. The conference was attended by about 300 participants representing reputed NGOs, experts from home and abroad, besides a number of donor agencies and foreign diplomats of whom the Canadian High Commissioner in Pakistan was seen as a guardian spirit.
