Pir Hasan Kabirdin was the youngest of the 5 sons of Pir Sadardin. He was born on Wednesday 22nd of the month of Shaan 742 A.H. in the state of Bhavalpur in the city of Ucch Sharif in present day Pakistan. The names of his other siblings were Sayyed Zaherdin, Sayyed Salahudin, Pir Tajudin and Sayyed Jamaludin.
Pir Hasan Kabirdin was also known popularly as Hasan Darya. He was bestowed with Piratan by our 30th Holy Imam Islamshah after the passing away of Pir Sadardin. Pir Hasan Kabirdin thus became our 27th Holy Pir. He wrote many Ginans including the Anant Akhado which has 500 stanzas and is recited every evening before the first Dua
HASAN KABIRUDDIN, PIR
"Pir Hasan Kabiruddin, the son of Pir Sadruddin was generally known as Syed Hasan Shah, Pir Hasan Shah, Syed Sadat, Gur Pir Hasan al-Hussain, Makdum Syed Kabiruddin Shah etc. He is however known in Uchh Sharif as Hasan Dariya. He was born in Uchh Sharif in 742/1341 and was the first Indian pir to be born in India. He was endowed from birth with deep spiritual insight and strong common sense combined with sympathy and love for his fellow beings, and was also noted for his piety since childhood.
